- Before starting the aircraft, inspect for normal operation of mounted equipment and check for any abnormalities

- Prevents failure by starting engine based on the aircraft start procedure
- (Failing to comply leads to device defects and accident)
- ③ Stop procedure
- Conduct stop engine based on the procedure after end of the flight
- Same as starting the engine, the stop procedure must be followed in sequence
- (Failing to comply will affect the engine and the next engine start)
